How it works
- Cast Dockside Extortionist by paying 1.
- Dockside Extortionist enters the battlefield, creating at least eight Treasure tokens.
- Activate seven of the Treasure tokens by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 5.
- Activate Aegis Automaton by paying 4, returning Dockside Extortionist from the battlefield to your hand.
- Repeat.
This loop relies on Dockside Extortionist entering the battlefield against a sufficiently stocked board of enemy artifacts and enchantments to flood you with Treasure tokens. With that heavy influx of mana, you can feed Aegis Automaton's high activation cost to repeatedly bounce Dockside Extortionist back to your hand and recast it. Because every iteration generates a massive surplus of Treasures beyond what is needed to pay for the bounce and recast, you are left with an infinite supply of mana and artifact triggers to seal the game.
