How it works
- Cast Dockside Extortionist by paying 1.
- When Dockside Extortionist enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating at least four Treasure tokens.
- Activate three Treasure tokens by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 2.
- Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Dockside Extortionist.
- Activate Ruthless Technomancer by paying 2 and sacrificing a Treasure token, returning Dockside Extortionist from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- Repeat from step 2.
This vicious loop relies on Dockside Extortionist entering the battlefield and generating enough Treasure tokens from your opponents' artifacts and enchantments to fund the entire operation. You then use Altar of Dementia to send Dockside Extortionist straight to the graveyard, setting the stage for Ruthless Technomancer to step in. By paying {2}{B} and sacrificing a single Treasure, Ruthless Technomancer uses its reanimation ability—fueled by the mana you generated—to pull Dockside Extortionist right back out of the graveyard and back onto the battlefield to repeat the carnage.
