How it works

1. Cast Volcano Hellion by paying 2.
2. When Volcano Hellion enters, it triggers, dealing an arbitarily large amount of damage to you and a creature. The damage that would be dealt to you is dealt to Donna Noble instead due to Pariah.
3. Donna Noble triggers, dealing an arbitrarily large amount of damage to an applicable target.

This lethal loop turns your own life total against your opponents by turning Volcano Hellion's entry trigger into a one-sided firing squad. When Volcano Hellion enters the battlefield and deals a massive chunk of damage to you, Pariah steps in to redirect that blow straight to Donna Noble (or her soulbonded partner), bypassing you entirely. Because Donna Noble triggers whenever she or her paired creature takes damage, that redirected punishment is instantly reflected back as lethal damage directly to an opponent.
