How it works

1. Activate Vizkopa Guildmage by paying 1, causing each opponent to lose life whenever you gain life this turn.
2. Activate Necropotence by paying 1 life, exiling the top card of your library.
3. Repeat step 2 until you have one life.
4. Cast Oketra's Last Mercy by paying 1, causing your life total to become forty.
5. Vizkopa Guildmage triggers, causing each opponent to lose thirty-nine life.
6. Each opponent loses the game due to having zero or less life.

This lethal sequence relies on aggressively manipulating your life total to weaponize a massive life swing against the entire table. First, you harness Vizkopa Guildmage's second ability to establish a deadly deferred trigger that turns any life gain into direct life loss for your opponents. You then burn through your own life resources by repeatedly activating Necropotence, paying life to exile the top cards of your library until you are brought dangerously close to elimination. Finally, casting Oketra's Last Mercy resets your life total back to forty, triggering the Guildmage's lingering effect for thirty-nine life gained and instantly draining all opponents out of the game.
