How it works

1. Activate Vizkopa Guildmage's second ability by paying 1, causing each opponent to lose life whenever you gain life this turn.
2. Gain life.
3. Vizkopa Guildmage triggers, causing each opponent to lose 1 life.
4. Bloodthirsty Conqueror triggers for each opponent that lost life.
5. Resolve a Bloodthirsty Conqueror trigger, gaining 1 life.
6. Repeat from step 3.

This elegant loop turns a single instance of life gain into a terminal drain on your opponents, all thanks to a self-sustaining feedback loop between Vizkopa Guildmage and Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Once you activate the Guildmage's second ability, any gain of life triggers its effect to make each opponent lose an equal amount of life. That life loss instantly awakens the Conqueror's passive ability, which commands you to gain that much life back. Because gaining that life immediately restarts the Guildmage's trigger, the two creatures lock into an unbroken cycle that drains the table dry.
