How it works
- Activate Chandra's first loyalty ability by putting a loyalty counter on it, adding at least .
- Activate Luxior's first equip ability by paying 1, attaching it to Chandra.
- Activate Emiel by paying 3, blinking Chandra.
- Repeat.
- If you control five or more planeswalkers, this combo nets infinite red mana.
This brilliant loop transforms Chandra, Legacy of Fire into an engine of boundless energy by weaponizing Luxior, Giada's Gift to bypass the usual limitations of planeswalkers. Because Luxior equips for a mere {1} and turns Chandra into a creature, she becomes a valid target for Emiel the Blessed, whose ability blinks her away and brings her right back fresh. Every time Chandra re-enters the battlefield, she resets her loyalty and benefits from Emiel's passive triggered ability, allowing you to pay {G/W} to place a +1/+1 counter on her (though the counter isn't even strictly necessary to keep the engine humming). Once you control five or more planeswalkers to multiply her mana generation, Chandra's first loyalty ability yields more than enough red mana to pay for Emiel's {3} activation cost and net infinite red mana in the process.
