How it works

  1. Cast Time Walk by paying 3U manaU mana, taking an extra turn after this one.
  2. At the beginning of your end step, Conjurer's Closet triggers, blinking Archaeomancer.
  3. Archaeomancer enters the battlefield, returning Time Walk from your graveyard to your hand.
  4. Repeat.

This classic Vintage-legal loop takes advantage of the recursive power of Archaeomancer paired with the delayed gratification of Conjurer's Closet. By letting Conjurer's Closet exile Archaeomancer at the end step of your turn, its entry trigger lets you pull Time Walk right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. Because Time Walk grants you an entirely extra turn to recast it, you can continuously repeat this cycle every single turn, completely locking the game down with infinite turns.
