How it works

1. Activate Auton Soldier using Avatar Kuruk's ability by paying 20 minus 1 for each creature and/or artifact you can tap while activating it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. At the beginning of your end step, Conjurer's Closet triggers, blinking Auton Soldier. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Avatar Kuruk.
3. Repeat each turn.

This astonishing loop centers on Avatar Kuruk—the back face of The Legend of Kuruk—whose powerful Exhaust ability lets you pay {20} to take an extra turn, tapping down your artifacts and creatures along the way to defray the cost. While Avatar Kuruk's legendary status normally prevents you from having multiples on the field, Auton Soldier elegantly bypasses this restriction by entering as a nonlegendary, artifact copy of the Avatar with myriad. To keep the engine running indefinitely, Conjurer's Closet steps in at the beginning of your end step to exile and blink Auton Soldier, allowing it to reset and re-enter yet again as a fresh copy of Avatar Kuruk ready to unleash its waterbending exhaust ability turn after turn.
