How it works

1. Activate Magmaw by paying 1 and sacrificing another nonland permanent, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
2. Malcolm triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
3. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This engine transforms the humble Treasure into an endless stream of fiery retribution by turning Magmaw into a lethal cannon. Equipped with Amorphous Axe, Magmaw seamlessly gains the Pirate creature type, allowing every single point of damage it deals to trigger Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and generate fresh Treasure tokens. Meanwhile, Jolene, the Plunder Queen acts as the ultimate multiplier, stepping in to ensure that every time Malcolm creates a Treasure, an additional token is conjured to keep the fuel flowing. By sacrificing those extra Treasures to Magmaw and cycling the mana through, you endlessly loop the damage until all your opponents are reduced to ash.
