How it works

1. Activate Magmaw by paying 1 and sacrificing another nonland permanent, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
2. Malcolm triggers, creating a 1/1 Squirrel creature token and a Treasure token.
3. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This loop transforms Magmaw into a lethal engine by leveraging the wide tribal net cast by Amorphous Axe, which permanently transforms its wearer into every creature type—including a Pirate and a Squirrel. With that equipment in place, Magmaw deals damage to an opponent to trigger Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator, which normally would just yield a Treasure token. However, Chatterfang, Squirrel General watches over your token generation and doubles it by producing an extra 1/1 green Squirrel creature token alongside that Treasure. You can then sacrifice the newly minted Treasure to fuel Magmaw's ability, paying the {1} cost to repeat the whole process infinitely and burn your opponents out of the game.
