How it works

1. Activate Trazyn using Nyx Lotus's ability by tapping it, adding three mana of any color you have devotion to.
2. Activate Trazyn by paying 2, untapping it.
3. Repeat.

This clever loop lets Trazyn the Infinite borrow the activated mana ability of Nyx Lotus sitting quietly in your graveyard, tapping for a massive influx of mana based on your devotion. To keep the engine running, Trazyn also needs the untap ability granted by Scuttling Sliver, which generously extends its power to all Slivers you control. To make that happen, Amorphous Axe steps in to permanently make Trazyn every creature type—including a Sliver—allowing him to leverage the Sliver's text from the battlefield and endlessly untap himself for just two mana.
