How it works

1. During your upkeep, activate Necropotence by paying 1 life, exiling the top card of your library face down.
2. Repeat step 1 until you have zero life.
3. Activate Magus of the Mirror by tapping and sacrificing it, exchanging your life total with an opponent.
4. The opponent loses the game due to having zero life.

By harnessing Necropotence to rapidly pay life until your total drops to zero, you turn Soul Echo's static protection into a crucial safety net that keeps you from losing the game while you drain your own resources. Once you've safely reached zero life, you can activate Magus of the Mirror during your upkeep to swap life totals with a chosen opponent, instantly saddle them with your zero-life state, and knock them out of the game.
