How it works

1. During your upkeep, activate Cavern Harpy by paying 1 life.
2. Repeat step 1 until you have zero life.
3. Resolve the last Cavern Harpy trigger, returning it to your hand.
4. The remaining Cavern Harpy triggers fizzle.
5. Activate Magus of the Mirror by tapping and sacrificing it, exchanging your life total with an opponent.
6. The opponent loses the game due to having zero life.

This cunning life-manipulation loop uses Soul Echo as your ultimate safety net, allowing you to drop safely to zero life without losing the game thanks to its static replacement effect. Once you are comfortably at the brink, you can repeatedly activate Cavern Harpy's self-bounce ability by paying 1 life over and over to bleed your own life total down to zero. Finally, you tap Magus of the Mirror to sacrifice itself during your upkeep, instantly swapping your zero-life total with an unsuspecting opponent and sending them straight to defeat.
