How it works

  1. Activate Soul Foundry by paying 0 and tapping it, creating a token copy of Crookshank Kobolds
  2. When the Crookshank Kobolds token enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
  3. Repeat.

This ingenious loop hinges on turning your utility artifacts into creatures with March of the Machines, transforming Soul Foundry into a legal target for its own untap triggers. Once you imprint Crookshank Kobolds onto the Foundry, you can repeatedly tap the artifact for zero mana to churn out endless token copies of the Kobolds. Every single time a new token arrives, Intruder Alarm's static ability sees the creature entering and immediately untaps all creatures—which now includes your March-animated Soul Foundry. This lets you tap the Foundry over and over again to generate an infinite army of tokens and an infinite number of creature untaps.
