How it works

1. Cast Samwise the Stouthearted by paying 0 due to Aluren.
2. When Samwise the Stouthearted enters the battlefield, it and Minion Reflector trigger.
3. Resolve the Samwise the Stouthearted trigger, returning nothing to your hand from your graveyard, and causing the Ring to tempt you.
4. Resolve the Minion Reflector trigger, causing you to pay 2 to create a token copy of Samwise the Stouthearted.
5. Put the nontoken Samwise the Stouthearted into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
6. When the Samwise the Stouthearted token enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning the nontoken Samwise the Stouthearted to your hand from your graveyard, and causing the Ring to tempt you.
7. Cast Samwise the Stouthearted by paying 0 due to Aluren.
8. Put the nontoken Samwise the Stouthearted into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
9. The nontoken Samwise the Stouthearted's enters-the-battlefield ability triggers, as well as Minion Reflector.
10. Resolve the Minion Reflector trigger, choosing not to pay.
11. Resolve the Samwise the Stouthearted trigger, returning Samwise the Stouthearted to your hand from your graveyard, and causing the Ring to tempt you.
12. Repeat from step 7.

This charming loop turns Aluren into a zero-mana engine by letting you cast Samwise the Stouthearted for free at instant speed. Each time Samwise enters the battlefield, Minion Reflector offers a cheap way to copy it for two mana, feeding the legend rule to instantly bin the original card so Samwise's own enters-the-battlefield ability can pull it right back to your hand. As you repeat this cycle, you are constantly feeding the Ring tempts you mechanic while churning out endless creature entries, exits, and death triggers to easily fuel a massive storm count.
