How it works

1. Activate Gaea's Cradle by tapping it, adding at least
2. Activate Deserted Temple's second ability by paying 1 and tapping it, targeting Gaea's Cradle.
3. Rings of Brighthearth triggers, causing you to pay 2 to copy Deserted Temple's ability, targeting Deserted Temple.
4. Resolve both Deserted Temple abilities, untapping Deserted Temple and Gaea's Cradle
5. Repeat

This looping powerhouse turns your land base into an exponential mana engine by exploiting Rings of Brighthearth's ability to copy activated triggers. When you tap Gaea's Cradle for a massive influx of green mana, you use a portion of those funds to pay for Deserted Temple's untap ability targeting the Cradle. Because Rings of Brighthearth is watching your every move, you pay an extra two mana to copy that untap trigger, directing the copy right back at Deserted Temple itself. As both untap triggers resolve, you leave both lands fresh and ready to repeat the cycle, fueling an endless loop of green and colorless mana that you can execute in formats like Commander, Legacy, Oathbreaker, PreDH, and Vintage.
