How it works

1. Cast Appa either from your hand or from the command zone by paying plus commander tax, if applicable.
2. When Appa enters, its first ability triggers, exiling Wispweaver Angel with the ability to cast it later from exile.
3. Cast Wispweaver Angel from exile by paying 0.
4. Appa's second ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Ally creature token.
5. When Wispweaver Angel enters, it triggers, blinking Appa.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This delightful loop relies on a brilliant cost-reduction engine to continually cycle creatures between the battlefield and exile. With Planar Gate on the board, the {2} casting cost to recast exiled permanents is completely negated, allowing Wispweaver Angel to be cast for free every time Appa, Steadfast Guardian airbends it. When Wispweaver Angel re-enters the battlefield, its blink ability targets Appa, Steadfast Guardian right back, resetting the whole sequence. Every single iteration not only generates an endless supply of 1/1 white Ally creature tokens thanks to Appa's triggered ability, but also racks up infinite storm count and trigger effects.
