How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Squee and Skyfire Phoenix, adding .
2. Cast Squee from your graveyard by paying .
3. Skyfire Phoenix triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns your persistent goblin into a relentless engine of sacrifice and rebirth, fueled by Thermopod to generate red mana and storm count. Because Squee, the Immortal can be repeatedly cast straight from the graveyard, and Planar Gate drastically slashes that casting cost down to just a pair of red mana, you break even on every iteration. Meanwhile, every time you cast your commander, Skyfire Phoenix happily springs out of the graveyard right alongside it to join the pyre, ensuring you always have a second body to feed to the furnace.
