How it works
Cast Rite of Replication with kicker by paying 7, targeting Precursor Golem.
Precursor Golem's second ability triggers, creating a kicked copy of Rite of Replication targeting every other Golem.
Resolve the first Rite of Replication, creating five token copies of the Golem it is targeting.
If the Golem was Percursor Golem, the Percursor Golem tokens enter the battlefield, triggering their first abilities, creating a total of ten 3/3 Golem artifact creature tokens.
Repeat from step 3 for each other Rite of Replication.
Cast Twisted Image by paying , targeting any Golem.
The six Percursor Golems' second abilities each trigger, creating six copies of Twisted Image targeting every other Golem.
Resolve the first Twisted Image, causing you to draw a card.
Repeat step 8 until you draw from an empty library, causing you to win the game.
This dazzling chain reaction begins when you cast Rite of Replication with its kicker targeting Precursor Golem, turning its multi-copy trigger against it to flood the board with an overwhelming army of Golems and their associated token-generating ETBs. Once your board is utterly choked with Golems, you cast Twisted Image to break the game's targeting mechanics: because Precursor Golem's second ability triggers for every single Golem on the field, a single cantrip cascades into hundreds of spell copies that rapidly draw through your entire library. With your deck completely empty, Laboratory Maniac watches you draw that final phantom card and instantly converts certain defeat into a glorious victory.
