How it works

  1. Activate the mana-producing permanent by tapping it, adding U mana.
  2. Activate Fatestitcher's unearth ability by paying U mana, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield and giving it haste until end of turn.
  3. Activate Fatestitcher by tapping it, untapping the mana-producing permanent.
  4. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Fatestitcher.
  5. Choose to exile Fatestitcher using Void Maw's replacement effect instead of Fatestitcher's.
  6. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to Fatestitcher's power.
  7. Activate Void Maw by putting Fatestitcher from exile into your graveyard, giving Void Maw +2/+2 until end of turn.
  8. Repeat.
