How it works

1. Cast Trusty Boomerang by paying 1.
2. Kykar triggers, creating a 1/1 Spirit creature token.
3. When the Spirit enters, Mana Echoes triggers, adding C for each Spirit you control.
4. Activate Trusty Boomerang's equip ability by paying 1, attaching it to the Spirit token.
5. Activate the Spirit token by paying 1 and tapping it, tapping a creature a returning Trusty Boomerang from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Repeat.

This intricate loop relies on constantly bouncing and replaying Trusty Boomerang to churn through your deck and generate massive resources. Each time you cast the artifact, Kykar, Wind's Fury rewards you by spawning a 1/1 Spirit token, which in turn feeds Mana Echoes to generate escalating bursts of colorless mana. By equipping Trusty Boomerang to that very same Spirit and activating its ability, you bounce the boomerang back to your hand while tapping a creature, allowing you to replay it and repeat the cycle endlessly. Meanwhile, Maelstrom Wanderer ensures your entire army stays hasty and ready to act, rounding out a powerful engine that can easily overwhelm the table in Commander, Legacy, Oathbreaker, and Vintage.
