How it works

1. Activate Mystic Sanctuary by tapping it, adding .
2. Cast Time Stretch by paying its mana cost, causing you to take two extra turns after this one.
3. Move to your first extra turn.
4. Activate Mystic Sanctuary by tapping it, adding .
5. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying 2, blinking Mystic Sanctuary and Salvager of Secrets.
6. When Salvager of Secrets and Mystic Sanctuary enter the battlefield, they trigger.
7. Resolve the Salvager of Secrets trigger, returning Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard to your hand.
8. Resolve the Mystic Sanctuary trigger, putting Time Stretch from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
9. Move to your next turn, drawing Time Stretch during your draw step.
10. Repeat.

This classic spell-recursion loop sets up an absolute time lock by chaining extra turns together indefinitely. It all hinges on casting Time Stretch to feed your sequence, while Ghostly Flicker repeatedly resets your board state by blinking both Salvager of Secrets and Mystic Sanctuary. When Salvager of Secrets enters the battlefield, it fishes Ghostly Flicker back out of your graveyard, and Mystic Sanctuary manipulates the top of your library to place Time Stretch right back where you need it.
