How it works

1. Cast Time Stretch by paying 8, taking two extra turns after this one.
2. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Progenitor Mimic triggers, creating a token copy of Ardent Elementalist.
3. When the token Ardent Elementalist enters the battlefield, it triggers itself, returning Time Stretch from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Repeat.

This loop creates an unbreakable chain of infinite turns by continually recycling a single sorcery through clever creature replication. By letting Progenitor Mimic copy Ardent Elementalist as it enters the battlefield, you secure a steady stream of enter-the-battlefield triggers that pull Time Stretch right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. Because Progenitor Mimic naturally generates a fresh copy of the Elementalist on every single upkeep, you will always have the mana and the means to cast Time Stretch again, locking your opponents out of the game entirely.
