How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Shambling Ghast.
2. When Shambling Ghast dies, it and Rakdos trigger.
3. Resolve the Shambling Ghast trigger, creating a Treasure token.
4. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
5. Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Shambling Ghast from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
6. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, exiling Shambling Ghast from the top of your library with the ability to cast it until your next turn.
7. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to Shambling Ghast's power.
8. Cast Shambling Ghast from exile by paying 1.
9. Prosper triggers, creating a Treasure token.
10. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
11. Repeat.

This loop turns the humble Shambling Ghast into an endless engine of sacrifice and exile by continuously recycling it from the graveyard with Haunted Crossroads. Altar of Dementia provides the sacrifice outlet to mill your opponents out while feeding Rakdos, the Muscle's trigger, which exiles the Ghast right back to the top of your library to be recast. Meanwhile, Prosper, Tome-Bound ties the whole financial ecosystem together by rewarding you with a Treasure token every single time you cast that Ghast from exile, funding the mana needed to keep the wheel spinning indefinitely.
