How it works

  1. Activate Emry by tapping it, allowing you to cast Jeweled Lotus from your graveyard.
  2. Cast Jeweled Lotus by paying 0.
  3. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Emry.
  4. When Emry enters, it triggers, causing you to mill four cards.
  5. Activate Jeweled Lotus by tapping and sacrificing it.
  6. Repeat.

This clever recursive loop turns a free mana source into a churning engine of endless value. With Fervor granting Emry, Lurker of the Loch haste, she can immediately tap to cast Jeweled Lotus straight out of your graveyard. Casting that noncreature artifact triggers Displacer Kitten, blinking Emry to reset her tap ability while filling your graveyard further through her entry-triggered mill. You then crack Jeweled Lotus for three commander-only mana, leaving the Lotus in the graveyard ready to be recast by a fresh activation of Emry.
