How it works

1. Activate Emry by tapping it, allowing you to cast Dark Sphere from your graveyard.
2. Cast Dark Sphere by paying 0.
3. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Emry.
4. When Emry enters, it triggers, causing you to mill four cards.
5. Activate Dark Sphere by tapping and sacrificing it.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on a clever interplay of recursion and blinking to burn through your deck while generating an endless stream of artifact triggers. With Fervor granting haste, Emry, Lurker of the Loch can immediately tap to pull Dark Sphere from your graveyard, letting you recast the artifact for free. Each time you cast that noncreature spell, Displacer Kitten's avoidance trigger blinks Emry right back onto the battlefield, clearing away summoning sickness and triggering another self-mill to fuel the engine even further. Meanwhile, you can freely crack the looped Dark Sphere whenever you need to mitigate incoming damage, making this an unstoppable machine of continuous artifact sacrifice and self-mill.
