How it works

1. Cast Diamond Lion by paying 2.
2. When Diamond Lion enters, Sai of the Shinobi triggers, attaching itself to Diamond Lion.
3. Activate Diamond Lion by tapping it, sacrificing it and discarding your hand, adding three mana of any color.
4. When Diamond Lion dies, Koll triggers, returning Diamond Lion from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This clever engine turns the humble Diamond Lion into a self-recurring mana source, fueled entirely by the synergy of the artifact's own equipment triggers and death triggers. Because Sai of the Shinobi automatically equips itself to the Diamond Lion the moment it enters the battlefield, the Lion counts as being equipped when it hits the graveyard, allowing Koll, the Forgemaster's static ability to instantly bounce it right back to your hand for another round. With Fervor granting the necessary haste so the Lion can tap the very moment it re-enters, you can continuously cast, sacrifice, and loop the Diamond Lion to generate infinite colored mana, storm count, and death triggers without ever running out of steam.
