How it works

1. Activate Ravenous Baloth by sacrificing another Beast, causing you to gain 4 life.
2. Trudge Garden triggers, causing you to pay 2 to create two 4/4 Fungus Beast creature tokens.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Fungus Beast, adding CC.
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop begins when you use Ravenous Baloth to sacrifice a Beast, netting you 4 life and fueling Trudge Garden's triggered ability. By paying the required mana into Trudge Garden, you produce a Fungus Beast token that is instantly doubled into a pair of beasts thanks to Parallel Lives's replacement effect. You then feed one of those newly minted tokens into Ashnod's Altar to generate the exact {2} mana needed to pay for Trudge Garden's trigger, leaving you with an extra token and infinite room to repeat the cycle.
