How it works

1. Activate Blade of Shared Souls' equip ability by paying 2, attaching it to another creature you control.
2. Blade of Shared Souls triggers, causing the creature it is attached to to become a copy of Roalesk.
3. Put the creature with Blade of Shared Souls attached into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
4. The creature triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on Scurry Oak and two charge counters on Pentad Prism.
5. Scurry Oak triggers twice, creating two 1/1 Squirrel creature tokens.
6. Activate Pentad Prism twice by removing two charge counters from it, adding 2.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the legend rule into an engine by using Blade of Shared Souls to continuously clone Roalesk, Apex Hybrid, immediately sending the copy to the graveyard. Scurry Oak acts as your primary payoff, growing larger and churning out an endless swarm of Squirrel token fodder whenever those repeated +1/+1 counters land. Meanwhile, Pentad Prism provides the mana battery needed to sustain the loop by filtering the counters it receives into the exact energy required to pay for the equipment's cost.
