How it works

  1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 1W mana.
  2. Inexorable Tide triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Workhorse and a charge counter on Pentad Prism.
  3. When Kor Skyfisher enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning itself from the battlefield to your hand.
  4. Activate Pentad Prism by removing a charge counter from it, adding W mana.
  5. Activate Workhorse by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding C.
  6. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns a simple self-bouncing creature into a self-sustaining engine by exploiting the compounding power of Inexorable Tide. As you recast Kor Skyfisher, Inexorable Tide triggers to proliferate every counter on your board, quietly replenishing the fuel you spend. That fuel comes from Pentad Prism, which converts its charge counters into the white mana you need to recast the Skyfisher, and Workhorse, which sacrifices its +1/+1 counters for the colorless mana to cover the total cost. Because the Tide's proliferation puts those counters right back onto Pentad Prism and Workhorse faster than you remove them, the loop completely sustains itself while generating an endless storm count and infinite enter-the-battlefield triggers.
