How it works

1. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 4.
2. Cast Saheeli's Artistry by paying 4, creating a token copy of Great Whale that is an artifact.
3. When the Great Whale token enters, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
4. Cast Salvager of Secrets by paying its mana cost.
5. When Salvager of Secrets enters, it triggers, returning Saheeli's Artistry from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 4.
7. Cast Saheeli's Artistry by paying 4, creating a token copy of Salvager of Secrets and the Great Whale token.
8. When the Salvager of Secrets and Great Whale tokens enter, they trigger.
9. Resolve the Salvager of Secrets token's trigger, returning Saheeli's Artistry from your graveyard to your hand.
10. Resolve the Great Whale token's trigger, untapping up to seven lands.
11. Repeat from step 6.

This elegant loop hinges on cloning both our mana engine and our spell-recovery engine in a single, sweeping motion. We begin by using Saheeli's Artistry to copy Great Whale, turning our lands back on to fund the operation. Next, Salvager of Secrets steps in to scoop Saheeli's Artistry right back out of the graveyard. Once we have accumulated enough mana and copies, Saheeli's Artistry pulls off its grand finale by duplicating both the Great Whale token and a new Salvager of Secrets token simultaneously, creating an infinitely scaling wave of recursion and untaps.
