How it works

1. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 4.
2. Cast Saheeli's Artistry by paying 4, creating a token copy of Great Whale that is an artifact.
3. When the Great Whale token enters, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
4. Cast Possessed Skaab by paying its mana cost.
5. When Possessed Skaab enters, it triggers, returning Saheeli's Artistry from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 4.
7. Cast Saheeli's Artistry by paying 4, creating a token copy of Possessed Skaab and the Great Whale token.
8. When the Possessed Skaab and Great Whale tokens enter, they trigger.
9. Resolve the Possessed Skaab token's trigger, returning Saheeli's Artistry from your graveyard to your hand.
10. Resolve the Great Whale token's trigger, untapping up to seven lands.
11. Repeat from step 6.

This clever loop relies on cloning your way to infinite mana and eternal recursion by pairing Great Whale and Possessed Skaab with Saheeli's Artistry. By casting Saheeli's Artistry, you can simultaneously copy both creatures—with the Great Whale token providing the mana needed to fuel subsequent casts by untapping your lands, while the Possessed Skaab token ensures that Saheeli's Artistry never stays in the graveyard for long.
