How it works

1. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 4.
2. Cast Saheeli's Artistry by paying 4, creating a token copy of Great Whale that is an artifact.
3. When the Great Whale token enters, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
4. Cast Timeless Witness by paying its mana cost.
5. When Timeless Witness enters, it triggers, returning Saheeli's Artistry from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 4.
7. Cast Saheeli's Artistry by paying 4, creating a token copy of Timeless Witness and the Great Whale token.
8. When the Timeless Witness and Great Whale tokens enter, they trigger.
9. Resolve the Timeless Witness token's trigger, returning Saheeli's Artistry from your graveyard to your hand.
10. Resolve the Great Whale token's trigger, untapping up to seven lands.
11. Repeat from step 6.

This dazzling loop relies on continually cloning your key permanents with Saheeli's Artistry to endlessly generate surplus mana and recur your spells. By casting the Artistry to copy Great Whale, you immediately untap your lands to break even or profit on mana, while Timeless Witness steps in from your hand to pluck the sorcery right back out of your graveyard. Once you start copying both of them at once with Saheeli's Artistry, the cascading enters-the-battlefield triggers feed into themselves infinitely—the Great Whale tokens keep your lands perpetually fresh, and the Timeless Witness tokens ensure you never run out of ammo.
