How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Matter Reshaper
2. When Matter Reshaper dies, it and Mortuary trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Matter Reshaper from your graveyard onto the top of your library
4. Resolve the Matter Reshaper trigger, revealing Matter Reshaper from the top of your library and putting it onto the battlefield.
5. Repeat.

This self-sustaining loop relies on Mortuary's clever trigger to constantly intercept Matter Reshaper right as it dies, setting it up as the exact card revealed from the top of your library to return straight to the battlefield. Thermopod acts as the engine's catalyst and outlet, converting each iteration of this sacrifice cycle into a steady stream of red mana while fueling its own snow-activated requirements. Because Matter Reshaper costs 3 mana or less, it effortlessly qualifies to slip right back past its own death trigger and onto the board, letting you repeat the entire process indefinitely.
