How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Matter Reshaper
2. When Matter Reshaper dies, it and Mortuary trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Matter Reshaper from your graveyard onto the top of your library
4. Resolve the Matter Reshaper trigger, revealing Matter Reshaper from the top of your library and putting it onto the battlefield.
5. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop puts Mortuary's static replacement effect to work alongside Umbral Collar Zealot and Matter Reshaper to turn a simple sacrifice into an endless cycle of rebirth. By using Umbral Collar Zealot to feed Matter Reshaper to the graveyard, you trigger Mortuary to neatly slide Matter Reshaper right back onto the top of your library. From there, Matter Reshaper's own death trigger reveals it on the draw and puts it straight back onto the battlefield, ready to be sacrificed all over again for infinite death triggers and surveil depth.
