How it works
At the beginning of your precombat main phase, There and Back Again triggers, putting a lore counter on it.
There and Back Again's third chapter ability triggers, creating a legendary 6/6 Smaug creature token and causing you to sacrifice There and Back Again.
Cast Twinflame by paying 3, creating a token copy of the Smaug token and Donnie & April with haste.
Put either Smaug token and either Donnie & April token into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
The Smaug token that died and the Donnie & April token trigger.
Resolve the Smaug trigger, creating fourteen Treasure tokens.
Resolve the Donnie & April trigger, returning Twinflame from your graveyard to your hand.
Activate five Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 3.
Repeat from step 3.
This loop turns Smaug's hoard into a self-sustaining engine by cycling twin threats through the graveyard. Once There and Back Again advances to its final chapter, it produces the legendary dragon token whose death triggers a flood of fourteen Treasure tokens. Casting Twinflame replicates both that dragon and Donnie & April, Adorkable Duo, allowing the legend rule to instantly send a pair of copies to the graveyard. That death sparks Smaug's treasure-making payoff, while Donnie & April, Adorkable Duo cleverly rescues Twinflame right back to your hand so you can cast it again using a fraction of the newly minted mana.
