How it works

1. At the beginning of your precombat main phase, There and Back Again triggers, putting a lore counter on it.
2. There and Back Again's third chapter ability triggers, creating a legendary 6/6 Smaug creature token and causing you to sacrifice There and Back Again.
3. Activate Romana II by paying 1 and tapping it, creating a token copy of Smaug with haste.
4. Put either Smaug token into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
5. When the Smaug token dies, it triggers, creating fourteen Treasure tokens.
6. Activate four Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 3.
7. Activate Gauntlets of Light by paying 2, untapping Romana II.
8. Repeat from step 3.

This clever setup centers around exploiting the incredible death trigger on the legendary Dragon token generated by There and Back Again's final chapter. Because Romana II can tap to create a token copy of any token that entered the battlefield this turn, she can instantly duplicate that massive 6/6 Dragon under the protection of the legend rule, sending one copy to the graveyard to immediately spawn fourteen Treasure tokens. You can then use those Treasures to fund Gauntlets of Light, whose activated ability untaps Romana II so she can repeat the entire process indefinitely.
