How it works

1. At the beginning of your precombat main phase, There and Back Again triggers, putting a lore counter on it.
2. There and Back Again's third chapter ability triggers, creating a legendary 6/6 Smaug creature token and causing you to sacrifice There and Back Again.
3. Activate Romana II by paying 1 and tapping it, creating a token copy of Smaug with haste.
4. Put either Smaug token into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
5. When the Smaug token dies, it triggers, creating fourteen Treasure tokens.
6. Activate two Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 1.
7. Activate Pemmin's Aura's first ability by paying , untapping Romana II.
8. Repeat from step 3.

By leveraging Pemmin's Aura to repeatedly untap Romana II for a single blue mana, you can continuously activate her ability to copy tokens that entered the turn. The engine feasts upon the legendary dragon created by the final chapter of There and Back Again, using the legend rule to send duplicate copies of Smaug straight to the graveyard. Each time a Smaug token dies, its triggered ability erupts with a massive horde of fourteen Treasure tokens, more than enough to fund the mana costs required to keep the loop spinning indefinitely.
