How it works

1. At the beginning of your precombat main phase, There and Back Again triggers, putting a lore counter on it.
2. There and Back Again's third chapter ability triggers, creating a legendary 6/6 Smaug creature token and causing you to sacrifice There and Back Again.
3. Activate Romana II by paying 1 and tapping it, creating a token copy of Smaug with haste.
4. Put either Smaug token into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
5. When the Smaug token dies, it triggers, creating fourteen Treasure tokens.
6. Activate five Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 3.
7. Activate Aggravated Assault by paying 3, untapping all creatures you control and causing you to get an additional combat and main phase after this one.
8. Repeat from step 3.

Once There and Back Again reaches its final chapter, it treats you to the mighty Smaug token, setting the stage for a legendary wealth of dragons and gold. By using Romana II to copy that massive token, the legend rule instantly sends one to the graveyard, where Smaug's death ability rewards you with fourteen Treasure tokens. Sacrificing just five of those treasures fuels Aggravated Assault, which untaps your entire board and grants you an extra combat phase—leaving you with a surplus of mana and infinite loops to crush your opponents.
