How it works

1. At the beginning of your precombat main phase, There and Back Again triggers, putting a lore counter on it.
2. There and Back Again's third chapter ability triggers, creating a legendary 6/6 Smaug creature token and causing you to sacrifice There and Back Again.
3. Activate Ghired by tapping it, creating a copy of the Smaug token.
4. Put either Smaug token into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
5. When the Smaug token dies, it triggers, creating fourteen Treasure tokens.
6. Activate a Treasure token by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Activate Pemmin's Aura's first ability by paying , untapping Ghired.
8. Repeat from step 3.

This explosive loop turns the final chapter of There and Back Again into an absolute goldmine by leveraging the legendary dragon token it creates alongside Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds. Thanks to Ghired granting his activated ability to nontoken creatures—and Pemmin's Aura enchanting him to provide infinite untaps fueled by the Treasures he generates—you can endlessly copy and sacrifice Smaug.
