How it works
At the beginning of your precombat main phase, There and Back Again triggers, putting a lore counter on it.
There and Back Again's third chapter ability triggers, creating a legendary 6/6 Smaug creature token and causing you to sacrifice There and Back Again.
Activate Ghired by tapping it, creating a copy of the Smaug token.
Put either Smaug token into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
When the Smaug token dies, it triggers, creating fourteen Treasure tokens.
Activate six Treasure tokens by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 6.
Activate Singing Bell Strike by paying 6, untapping Ghired.
Repeat from step 3.
This loop is an incredible display of wealth creation, turning a legendary dragon into an endless treasure vault. It all begins when chapter III of There and Back Again plays out, rewarding you with the mighty Smaug token and its promise of fourteen golden riches upon death. Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds then steps in to tap and duplicate that massive dragon, instantly triggering the legend rule to send one to the graveyard and unleash that colossal hoard of Treasure tokens. To keep the assembly line moving, you sacrifice a handful of those newly minted Treasures to pay for Singing Bell Strike's ability, untapping Ghired so the entire replication process can begin anew.
