How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Woodfall Primus.
2. When Woodfall Primus dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
3. When Woodfall Primus enters, it triggers, destroying a noncreature permanent.
4. Repeat.

This looping engine is all about turning Woodfall Primus's stubborn refusal to stay in the graveyard into a total dismantling of your opponent's board. Every time you feed the Primus to Ashnod's Altar for a burst of colorless mana, its persist ability triggers to bring it right back—and that is where Vizier of Remedies quietly breaks the math by intercepting the -1/-1 counter so the creature never actually accumulates them. This means the Primus can keep coming back indefinitely to trigger its entry ability over and over again, letting you systematically blow up every single noncreature permanent your opponents control while generating an endless supply of mana and death triggers.
