How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Woodfall Primus.
2. When Woodfall Primus dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
3. When Woodfall Primus enters, it triggers, destroying a noncreature permanent.
4. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability.
5. Repeat.

This engine transforms Woodfall Primus into a relentless wrecking ball by exploiting the interaction between persist and replacement effects. When you feed the Primus to Bartolomé del Presidio's sacrifice ability, the giant tree naturally wants to return with a -1/-1 counter, but Vizier of Remedies steps in to reduce that counter placement to zero. Because Woodfall Primus hits the battlefield completely clean of counters, its persist ability can trigger again every single time it dies, letting you loop the destruction of noncreature permanents indefinitely while pumping Bartolomé del Presidio full of infinite +1/+1 counters.
