How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Furystoke Giant.
2. When Furystoke Giant dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
3. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in counter-mitigation, transforming a creature's drawback into an engine for infinite resources. When you sacrifice Furystoke Giant to Phyrexian Altar, its persist trigger brings it straight back from the graveyard, but thanks to Vizier of Remedies, the pesky -1/-1 counter is completely prevented from being placed on it. Because the Giant returns completely clean of counters, you can endlessly repeat the sacrifice to generate infinite colored mana and an infinite storm of death and entry triggers. While Furystoke Giant's enter-the-battlefield ability gives your creatures a tap-to-damage-anything ability, the real magic here is the self-sustaining sacrifice loop that leaves your opponents with nowhere to hide.
