How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Kithkin Spellduster.
2. When Kithkin Spellduster dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
3. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Umbral Collar Zealot into a relentless engine by utilizing Kithkin Spellduster's persist ability to recycle it endlessly from the graveyard. Normally, persist would place a -1/-1 counter on the returning creature to prevent it from looping infinitely, but Vizier of Remedies steps in to reduce that counter placement to zero. Because Kithkin Spellduster returns completely clean of counters every single time it dies, you can sacrifice it over and over to fuel the Zealot's activation cost, generating an unlimited stream of enter-the-battlefield, leave-the-battlefield, death, and sacrifice triggers alongside infinite surveils.
