How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Trapjaw Kelpie.
2. When Trapjaw Kelpie dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
3. Resolve the Yahenni ability
4. Repeat.

This resilient engine turns your graveyard into a revolving door by leveraging Trapjaw Kelpie and its built-in persist mechanic. Normally, the -1/-1 counter placed upon resurrection would permanently shut the loop down, but Vizier of Remedies cleverly steps in to reduce that counter to zero, allowing the Kelpie to return pristine and ready to die again. Meanwhile, Yahenni, Undying Partisan serves as the sacrificial outlet that keeps the cycle spinning while growing larger with every iteration, generating an endless stream of enters-the-battlefield, leaves-the-battlefield, and death triggers.
