How it works

1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Scuzzback Marauders.
2. When Scuzzback Marauders dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
3. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the brilliant anti-synergy between persist and replacement effects: whenever Scuzzback Marauders dies, Vizier of Remedies steps in to ensure the creature returns to the battlefield completely free of the -1/-1 counters that would normally lock it out of the graveyard. Because the Marauders keep coming back fresh, Bloodflow Connoisseur has an endless supply of fuel to happily sacrifice them over and over again. As you feed the Marauders to the Connoisseur, each iteration permanently grows the Connoisseur with a +1/+1 counter while generating an endless storm of death, sacrifice, and entry triggers.
