How it works

1. Activate Goblin Sledder by sacrificing Scuzzback Marauders
2. When Scuzzback Marauders dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
3. Resolve the Goblin Sledder ability.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a modest goblin band into an endless engine of sacrifice and resurrection. You begin by feeding Scuzzback Marauders to the nimble Goblin Sledder, sending the giant into the graveyard to trigger its persist ability. Normally, persist would bring it back with a detrimental -1/-1 counter that permanently locks it out of future loops, but Vizier of Remedies steps in to intercept that counter entirely, leaving the Marauders fresh and ready to die again. Because the creature returns without a counter, persist can trigger anew each time it hits the graveyard, allowing you to feed the Sledder infinitely and pump your battlefield to apocalyptic proportions.
