How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Glen Elendra Archmage.
2. When Glen Elendra Archmage dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
3. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Carrion Feeder into an endlessly growing threat while giving you infinite sacrifice and death triggers. The true engine here is Glen Elendra Archmage, whose persist ability would normally lock it out of looping once it accumulated a -1/-1 counter; however, Vizier of Remedies steps in with its replacement effect to ensure the Archmage always returns completely clean. This allows you to sacrifice the Archmage to Carrion Feeder over and over again, letting you repeatedly counter opposing noncreature spells along the way while feeding the Feeder infinite +1/+1 counters.
