How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Thunderblust.
2. When Thunderblust dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
3. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability
4. Repeat.

This clever loop feeds on the graceful interaction between Carrion Feeder and the undying resilience of Thunderblust, creating an endless cycle of sacrifice and rebirth across legal formats from Modern to Commander. Whenever Thunderblust meets its doom in the graveyard, its persist ability would normally saddle it with a -1/-1 counter, but the watchful presence of Vizier of Remedies steps in to reduce that burden to zero. Because Thunderblust returns completely clean of any counters, its persist trigger will happily fire off again the next time it dies, letting Carrion Feeder consume the elemental infinitely to grow endlessly large on demand.
